MARY B. KEENE
MOUNT OLIVE -- Mary B. Keene, 74, 405C B. Keene Road, died Monday.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Eureka Christian Church with the Rev. Frank Purvis and the Rev. Marvin Bryant officiating. Burial will be in Eureka Christian Church Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lathon E. Keene.
She is survived by three daughters, Bonnie Lou Jones of Mount Juliet, Tenn., Ellen Stokes of Dunn and Wanda Newsome of Hartsville, S.C.; four sons, Charles E. "Bud" Keene and Ronnie Joe Keen of Mount Olive, Jerry Dean Keene of Kenly and Garry T. "Tommy" Keene of Selma; a sister, Francis Tew of Dunn; four brothers, Bill Myers of Greensboro, Leroy Myers of Mooresville, Preston Myers of Clinton and Jimmy Myers of Newton Grove; and 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends and relatives today from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. at West and Dunn Funeral Home in Newton Grove.
