RAYFORD A. MARTIN
Rayford Allen Martin, 63, of 500-B Sambo Lambert Road, died Friday at Sunbridge Care & Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Johnston County, he was the son of the late Silas and Maybell Jackson Martin. He was a carpenter with T.A. Loving.
The funeral will be held tonight at 7 in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Williford Martin; two sons, David Williford of Mount Olive and Tony Martin of Grantham; two daughters, Carolyn White of Goldsboro and Diane Martin of Nahunta; three brothers, Donald Ray Martin of Goldsboro, David Earl Martin of Goldsboro and Milford Martin of Kenly; four sisters, Merlene Jones, Thelma Rowe and Rhonda Davisl of Goldsboro and MarvoLee Lee of Four Oaks; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; special friend and brother-in-law, Charles Williford; and his dog, BooBoo.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service tonight, and at other times at the home.
