VIOLA K. TURNAGE

Viola King Turnage, 79, of 606 Daisy St., Goldsboro, died early Saturday morning at Sampson County Hospital.

Born Sept. 13, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Minnie Ingram King.

Funeral services will be held today at 5 p.m. at Casey Funeral Home in Princeton. Graveside service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Princeton Cemetery.

She is survived by a son, Mackey Woodcock of Wilmington; daughters, Helen Beasley of Clinton, Rachel Boone of Mount Olive and Frances Futrell of Wallace; brother, David King of Mount Olive; sister, Elsie Mae Whitman of Mount Olive; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will begin to receive friends starting at 4 p.m. and immediately follow the Funeral service.

The family is being served by Casey Funeral Home in Princeton.
