RAYFORD A. MARTIN
Rayford Allen Martin, 63, of 500-B Sambo Lambert Road died Friday at Sunbridge Care & Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Johnston County, he was the son of the late Silas and Maybell Jackson Martin. He was a carpenter with T.A. Loving.
Funeral Services will be held Monday at 7 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park on Tuesday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Rick Mondell will officiate.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Williford Martin; two sons, David Williford of Mount Olive and Tony Martin of Grantham; two daughters, Carolyn White of Goldsboro and Diane Martin of Nahunta; three brothers, Donald Ray Martin of Goldsboro, David Earl Martin of Goldsboro and Milford Martin of Kenly; four sisters, Merlene Jones, Thelma Martin, Rhonda Davis, all of Goldsboro and Marva Lee of Four Oaks; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service on Monday evening and at other times at the home.
