Police arrested a man on a first-degree murder warrant and several other felony warrants Monday while serving orders for arrest on another man, according to a press release.

Glenn Erwin Warren, 31, of 1405 Eagle Lane, Spring Lake, was served with warrants for and charged with felony first-degree murder, felony robbery with a dangerous weapon, felony conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, felony larceny of a motor vehicle, filing a false report to police and possession of marijuana.

Warren is being held with no bond and has his first appearance Wednesday.

According to his arrest report, Warren's murder warrant was out of Spring Lake, where his home address is located.

The robbery and theft charges come from the Fayetteville Police Department, according to the arrest report.

The release said the drug and filing a false police report charges were from warrants out of Harnett County.

When officers spoke with Warren, he gave them several different identities, the release said. He was charged with providing false information to law enforcement and obstructing and delaying an investigation and put under a $5,000 secured bond in the Wayne County Jail with a photo I.D. requirement, the release said.

He then divulged his real identity and was charged with the outstanding warrants.

The release said police originally went to 702 W. Walnut St. to serve orders for arrest on Yadshae Jones, 28, of 805-A Newsome St.

He was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, resist, delay and obstruct, possession of drug paraphernalia, felony larceny after breaking and entering, felony possession of stolen goods, felony obtaining property by false pretense, felony probation violation and felony fleeing to elude arrest.

Jones was put in jail under a $79,000 secured bond.
