Absorbing police report: Man says a roll of paper towels causes damage to vehicle

A roll of a paper towels fell off a work truck and apparently damaged a man's vehicle Monday afternoon.
According to a Goldsboro Police Department report, a man reported that the roll of paper towels hit the hood of his gray 2016 GMC Acadia in a parking lot at 126 W. Walnut St. at 1:15 p.m.
Damages to the hood were estimated at $100.
"It is kind of unusual," Maj. Anthony Carmon said.
According to the report, the man driving the work truck left the scene before officers arrived.
Carmon could not provide any other information on the damages or the man driving the work truck, but he said people file police reports to document any damages for their insurance companies.
