Three Southern Wayne High School students have been accused of damaging the hood of a Wayne County Sheriff's deputy's car when they stood on top of it to reportedly take a photo to post on Facebook.
According to an incident report, three juvenile students at Southern Wayne High School allegedly stood on top of the deputy's car Tuesday evening to take a picture so they could post it on Facebook.
The hood of the deputy's 2010 Dodge Charger was reportedly scratched in the process of the juveniles' antics, and incurred an estimated $100 in damages.
The deputy issued two of the juveniles citations for scratching the hood of his car, and the third juvenile was reportedly the one taking the photo for Facebook, the report says.
According to the report, the juvenile taking the photo for Facebook will be referred to teen court for his involvement in the incident.
All three students were suspended from school by school administration, the report says.
None of the names of the juveniles will be released due to their being underage.
