There were three reports of assault on a female filed with the Goldsboro Police Department and the Wayne County Sheriff's Office Tuesday.

Around 6 p.m. Tuesday evening James Crawford Sr., 41, of 1709 S. Slocumb St., allegedly got drunk and struck a woman on the left side of her face with an open hand twice and then punched her in the back of the head once. According to a report on the incident, Crawford had been drinking heavily "for quite some time," and got angry at the victim for reasons she did not know. Warrants were taken out for Crawford's arrest around 8 p.m. Tuesday, the report says.

Around 10 p.m. Tuesday, Aaron Dandre Moore, 21, of 304 W. Vine St., allegedly became irate with his child's mother when he went through her phone and saw she had been texting other people, a report on the incident says. Moore then allegedly pulled the woman's hair and punched her in the left side of her face. The victim of the alleged assault went and secured warrants for Moore's arrest after the incident.

Just after 2 p.m. Tuesday, a report with the Wayne County Sheriff's Office says Kevin Darnell Clark, 30, of 301 Smith Farm Road, reportedly beat the mother of his child after the two got into an argument over a phone call the victim of the alleged assault received from a co-worker. Clark reportedly hit the woman repeatedly in the face and arms. The victim was able to call 911, and when deputies arrived on scene she had a cut, bloody lip, the report says.

According to the report, the victim said her arms and shoulders also hurt as a result of the alleged assault. Clark locked the door and would not allow anyone inside the residence at Smith Farm Road, where the incident reportedly happened, but deputies were eventually able to make entry into the residence. Clark was arrested and charged with domestic assault on a female, and was given no bond. The victim was taken to the emergency room.
