The doors will open at 3 p.m. with the preliminary ceremonies starting at 5 p.m., including comments by state Rep. Jimmy Dixon of Mount Olive and state Sen. Brent Jackson of Autreyville in Sampson County and others, followed by Trump.

Trump also will be in High Point for a noon rally.

"There will be at least 10,000 people there, but there will 2,000 to 3,000 people who will not get into the building," Dixon said. "It will hold 6,000 people. There will be no seating. It is all stand up."

Dixon this morning said he was working on completing the program for the rally, including the opening prayer and pledge and someone to sing the national anthem.

It will be the fourth Trump rally for Dixon, who lead the pledge of allegiance when Trump visited Greenville earlier this month.

While at that rally Dixon talked to Trump's staff to invite Trump to a large agriculture rally be held Sept. 29 at the Duplin County Events Center.

However, Dixon said he was later told that Trump would not be able to attend because of the presidential debate. It was then that the Trump campaign make the decision to visit Duplin on Tuesday, he said.

Dixon was on Trump's transition team from North Carolina from the primary to general election. He is also the Duplin County coordinator for the Trump campaign.

Dixon said that as far as he knows Trump will be the first presidential candidate to visit Duplin County.
