Man charged with drug offenses after traffic stop

A Goldsboro man was charged with a litany of offenses after a traffic stop when officers found drugs in the car he was driving and discovered he had seven orders out for his arrest.
Davin Jae McCarty, 27, of 519 Morgan Trace Lane, was arrested and charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance (cocaine), simple possession of a schedule VI substance (marijuana), resist, delay and obstruct, possession of drug paraphernalia and was arrested for having seven outstanding orders for his arrest.
McCarty was given a $35,500 secured bond.
The charges were the result of a traffic stop.
