Three teens charged in breaking and entering, theft

Three teenagers were arrested Tuesday night for allegedly entering a house at 215 N. Virginia St., stealing a cell phone and fleeing the area.
Jorge Elliott Bell, 18, of 704 S. Pineview Ave., was charged with first-degree burglary and felony larceny for the alleged burglary. He was given a $52,500 secured bond.
Kenneth Sheppard, 16, of 118 D&W Circle, was charged with first-degree burglary in the incident. He was given a $50,000 secured bond.
A 14-year-old was also charged with first-degree burglary and was turned over to his parents.
Around 11 p.m. Tuesday night, the three teenagers allegedly entered the house at 215 N. Virginia St. through the front door, which was not locked.
According to a report filed on the incident, one of the teenagers then asked the victim if "she knew a guy by the name of Ryan," the report says.
The victim told the three teenagers she did not know anyone by that name, the report says, and the three teenagers then fled.
After the three teenagers fled, the victim told police she went to get her phone and found it was missing.
Officers searched the area and located three teenagers matching the description that was given to police of who committed the crime.
According to a press release from the Goldsboro Police Department, the three teenagers were positively identified as the three teenagers that entered the residence.
