Arts Council accepting applications for grants

The Arts Council of Wayne County is accepting applications for the 2015/16 Regional Artist Project grants.
The grants will provide financial support to artists in all disciplines, such as visual art/craft, music composition, film/video, literature/playwriting and choreography/dance at any stage of their career. Types of fundable projects include the creation of new work, purchase of equipment and materials and professional workshops.

The deadline for submitting applications is Sept. 11.
