On Monday, July 20, an employee of the Dollar Tree located at 2918 U.S. Highway 70 West reported securing the business on July 19 at 8:15 p.m. and when they returned to the business on July 20, at 8:15 a.m. they discovered a back door to the business had been damaged, an inside door was damaged and the suspect(s) also damaged the safe inside the business.
Total damages reported were $1,475. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call investigator Chris Melvin at 919-580-4212.
