Stabbing
Ronald Rosales, of 373 Lassiter Road, was stabbed in his front yard by a man whom witnesses said works with the victim. Israel Hernandez, 31, Jose Gomez, 53, and Monetz Jacobo, 44, all of the same Lassiter Road address, say they saw the suspect, not named on the report, running away from the scene. The victim, Rosales, was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital. No charges have been filed at the time of this report by the Goldsboro Police Department.
Shooting
A shooting at Day Circle left a residence damaged but no one injured Monday. According to a Goldsboro police report, the shooting occurred at 607 Day Circle just before 8 p.m. Brittany Fisher, the resident at that address was not home at the time, but discovered the bullet holes immediately upon her return. She went to her father's residence and spent the night there. Her father, Greg Hawkins, 40, made the police report. One bullet was collected by police from inside the home. No suspects were listed on the report, but the damage was valued at more than $300.
