In an effort to avoid confusion, 4th Fighter Wing officials have released details about an exercise set to unfold Monday on Seymour Johnson Air Force Base -- an "active shooter" simulation that will begin at 10:45 a.m. and will last approximately two hours. During that time, the base will operate under increased force protection conditions, causing gate closures and a base-wide lockdown.
