Shotgun attack

A city man suffered minor injury after being hit with a shotgun round in the 600 block of South Audubon Avenue late Sunday night, Goldsboro police said. Antwan Stackhouse reported that while riding home on his bicycle, a dark-colored, '90s model Toyota pulled up to him, and a black male exited with a shotgun, shooting him. Stackhouse said only a few pellets hit him, and he was not seriously hurt. The suspect got back in the vehicle, which headed west on Elm Street, while Stackhouse continued home on his bicycle.

Burglary, larceny, trespassing charge

A Goldsboro man was jailed under a $5,500 bond on burglary and larceny charges, Goldsboro police said. Police allege Diego Simone Reid, 42, is responsible for a break-in at a neighbor's home on West Oak Street on Friday, police said.

Vehicle break-in arrest

An East Maple Street man was charged with breaking and entering a motor vehicle, resisting police and assault on a police officer after Goldsboro police found him in the 1400 block of Edgerton Street after a report of a suspicious person. Linwood Jerome Amerson, 41, was charged with breaking and entering a motor vehicle and was jailed under a $52,500 bond, police said.

Attempted break-in arrest

A homeless Goldsboro man who allegedly tried to break into a maintenance building just behind the Herman Park Center on East Ash Street was charged with two counts of attempted felonious breaking and entering, police said. Darrell Lamont Wallace, 48, formerly of Dollard Town Road, was charged with two counts of attempted breaking or entering, $1,000 bond.

Stolen clothing

A man and two women from Wallace and Rose Hill are charged with taking clothing from the Berkeley Boulevard Ross outlet, Goldsboro police said. Arrested after a traffic stop were:

*Linton Cordona, 34, felony larceny, felonious possession of stolen property, $5,000 bond.

*Cinthia Funez, 38, Butler Street, Rose Hill, felony possession of stolen property, $5,000 bond.

*Marion Palma, 42, Bray Street, Wallace, felony larceny, possession of stolen property, $5,000 bond.
