Rosewood head girls' tennis coach Daniel Baynes sees the improvement.
Now he wants that growth to translate into wins on the court.
Clinton secured the outcome in singles and cruised 7-2 over the Eagles on Tuesday afternoon.
"It was a great match," Baynes said. "We were in most of the singles matches even though the score shows we lost. I feel like we are really getting better. I'm looking forward to conference season."
Sydney Reiss earned Rosewood's lone singles point.
The senior handed the Dark Horses' Lizzy Tart a 6-0, 6-2 loss.
"She played her best match of the season," Baynes said.
Reiss and Riley Maldonado prevailed at No. 1 doubles.
