Rosewood 36, C.B. Aycock 34 -- CBA scored a touchdown in the final 20 seconds, but failed on its two-point conversion attempt in the season opener for both teams.
Kameron Lamm tallied three touchdowns and 150 yards rushing on 15 attempts for Rosewood. Christian Decatur added 106 yards and two TDs on 11 totes.
John Thompson hauled in the decisive two-point conversion pass from quarterback Rocco Raper.
Center Will Teague anchored the offensive line.
Logan Merritt emerged as the defensive leader with nine stops, followed by Decatur with seven and Hunter Lassister with six. Rylan Hobbins and Thompson, who recovered a fumble, each had five stops.
Merritt recovered a fumble.
Decatur picked off a CBA pass just before halftime.
