PIKEVILLE -- Channing Williams scored 12 points, grabbed six rebounds, logged four steals and dished three assists to lead Eastern Wayne past ECC 3A and county foe Charles B. Aycock on Wednesday night.
Junior guard Nyesha Best also factored for the Lady Dubs, finishing with 12 points and three boards. Ziomara Williams added three points and eight rebounds.
Freshman Abbey Thomas led CBA (3-9, 2-2) with eight points, while Hannah Vinson finished with seven points.
The win pushed Eastern Wayne to 10-4 overall this season, and 2-2 in league matters.
It next sees the floor on Friday at J.H. Rose.
