Bri Verme scored 11 points and grabbed 10 rebounds on Tuesday to lead Wayne Christian past Greenfield, 23-17.
Olivia Sutton and Lauren Mitchell also factored offensively for the Eagles, registering four points apiece. Lauren Mitchell hauled in six rebounds.
The victory moved Wayne Christian to 3-3 overall this season, and 1-1 in NCISAA Coastal Plains matters.
WC next plays on Friday at home versus the Lighthouse Eagles.
