HENDERSON -- Marcus Metcalf scored 19 points to pace a balanced Wayne Country Day attack past Crossroads Christian, 88-70, on Tuesday.
Jaden Cooper also performed ably, scoring 18 points and grabbing seven boards. Senior guard Cole Atwood finished with 16 points, while Javon Outlaw contributed 14 points and 15 rebounds.
The victory moved WCDS to 9-8 overall this season. It next sees the floor on Friday versus archrival Greenfield in Wilson.
