JV Basketball -- Goldsboro turns back Southern Wayne

DUDLEY -- Jyreis McLean scored 17 points to lead Goldsboro High past Southern Wayne on Friday in the Wayne County JV Holiday Tournament.
Aaron Scott also played well for the Cougars, tallying 12 points. Sophomore Khari Anderson finished with 11 points.
The victory moved GHS to 8-2 on the season. It next plays on Jan. 2 at East Duplin.
