Charles B. Aycock earned a split in its season-opener on Tuesday, defeating Princeton (54-24), but falling to 3A power Corinth-Holders (60-24).
The senior duo of Austin Doyle (106) and Zach Creel (145) opened its final campaign in 2-0 fashion, as did junior Devin Maldonado (120) and sophomore Canon Barrett (113).
"The littles (weight classes) did their job tonight," said CBA coach Brian Doyle. "Overall, we did some good things, but there is plenty we need to tighten up before Saturday."
CBA next sees action on Saturday at Wilson Fike in the "Demon Duals."
