CALYPSO -- Hobbton erupted for three goals in the opening half on Wednesday, leading to a 4-nil defeat of Carolina 1-A host North Duplin.
"We struggled with ball control all night," ND head coach James Foster said. "Hobbton took advantage of our mistakes, while we were unable to produce quality chances on goal."
The setback moved the Rebels to 10-7-1 overall this season, and 8-7 in league play.
