TENNIS --Boros downed in 2A state tourney

CARY -- Grace Boros of Goldsboro High, who recorded a 10-0 singles record this season, fell during opening-round action of the N.C. High School Athletic Association 2-A singles championship on Friday at Cary Tennis Park.
Boros was defeated by Rachel Rice of Durham School for the Arts in 6-0, 6-0 fashion.
