The victory, a marathon-inspired 25-27, 25-16, 25-11, 25-19, 15-12 affair, moved the Lady Eagles to 24-7 on the season.
Grayson Jeffreys fueled the Wayne Country Day effort with 13 kills and three aces. Lillian Freeman also contributed nine kills. Cate Eagles led the Chargers with 34 assists.
Following the match, five Wayne Christian players were named to this season's CPIC All-Conference squad.
Sarah Sawyer, outside hitter Ashlee Harrelson, Holly Gurley and Norris each earned such distinction, while Shook -- who also recorded 23 digs in the match -- was tabbed as the league's Player-of-the-Year.
Wayne Christian, now 18-6 overall this season, awaits its playoff seeding today.
