Wayne Christian, Wayne Country Day run well at CPIC meet

Wayne Christian's boys cross country outfit won the CPIC Championship on Thursday, paced by multiple All-Conference performers.
Connor Bauer, Cooper Edmondson, Zander Pittman and Brandon Talton of WCDS earned all-league honors, as did Eli Winders of Wayne Christian.
Christ Covenant was the event's runner-up. Rob Glass of Wayne Country Day was tabbed at the league's Coach of the Year.
The girls' event was claimed by Wayne Christian, whose effort was paced by All-Conference performers Gray Young, Danielle Johnston, Hayden Nielsen, Katherine Eltz and Anna Stewart Freeman.
Wayne Christian, the runner-up, was led by Paige Court, Natalie Rheingruber and Haylie Verme. Court was tabbed as the league's Runner of the Year.
