ECBL: C.B. Aycock White rallies past Wayne Country Day

PIKEVILLE -- Charles B. Aycock White rallied from a two-run deficit to defeat Wayne Country Day, 4-2, in an ECBL game contested at Charles Davis Field on Wednesday evening.
The Golden Falcons pulled within 2-1 after five innings and pushed across three runs in the bottom of the sixth.
Noah Overton (RBI) punched out two hits for CBA. Dennis Dangerfield, Brett Forbis (RBI) and Drew Spencer each delivered a hit during the comeback affair.
SJ Harris collected an RBI.
Overton worked five innings on the bump. He yielded two runs (one earned) on six hits, walked three and struck out five. Adam Brogden provided two innings of one-hit scoreless relief.
Amane Godo paced the Chargers' offense with three hits and an RBI. Tanner Willman batted 2-for-4. Jaxon Anderson and Cole Brewer each supplied one hit. Willman, Godo, Anderson and Will White combined to steal five bases.
Kermode limited CBA to two hits and filed four strikeouts during his four-inning appearance on the cliff. White took over and surrendered four runs (none earned) on three hits and three walks.
White took the loss.
Each team committed three errors and combined to leave 18 runners on base.
