NCISAA 1A BOYS' TENNIS: Chargers knock out Warriors in 1A dual-team play

Wayne Country Day seized momentum during doubles play and eliminated Lawrence Academy, 6-3, from the N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association 1-A dual-team playoffs Wednesday.
The No. 1 tandem of Sam Dively-Charlie Dees posted a shutout against the Warriors' Lane Corbett-Jeb Ivey. The No. 2 duo of Alec Fritzinger-Gray Langston logged an 8-2 win.
Dively, Fritzinger, Dees and Gray Langston each emerged victorious in singles.
Third-seeded Wayne Country Day (10-5 overall) returns to action next Tuesday against the Woodlawn/American Hebrew winner.
