PREP BOYS' GOLF: Cougars win ECC crown, Kimble headed to states

Goldsboro emerged as the Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference champion and finished eighth in the N.C. High School Athletic Association east regional at Wedgewood GC in Wilson.
Ryan Kimble won a sudden-death playoff to qualify for the state meet at Beacon Ridge next Monday.
The Cougars were led by Kimble, Cameron Anderson, Joseph Foy, Reid Barnett, Clay West, Bryce Garner and Daniel Dunn.
