POSTPONEMENTS: Area games moved due to weather

High winds and a heavy rain from Wednesday evening forced the postponement of several area events Thursday.
-- Spring Creek will play host to Carolina 1-A Conference rival Hobbton today in baseball, softball and girls' soccer. All three games begin at 5 p.m.
-- The D.H. Conley-Eastern Wayne boys' tennis match was moved to Monday at 4 p.m.
-- Baseball, softball and girls' soccer battles between Carolina 1-A Conference foes Rosewood and James Kenan were rescheduled for April 28. Game time for each event is 6:30 p.m.
-- North Duplin moved its baseball, softball and girls' soccer games with Lakewood to May 3. Each is slated for a 6:30 p.m. start.
