BOYS' TRACK: Graham, Holt lead CBA in road meet

NEW BERN -- A scant three points separated three of the top four teams during an Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference meet contested at New Bern on Wednesday afternoon.
D.H. Conley emerged victorious with 72 points, followed by Eastern Wayne (71 points) and Charles B. Aycock (69).
Deshawn Owens secured first in the 1,600-meter run, while teammate Micah Castillo won the 300-meter hurdles. Kamarion Graham topped the field in the 100- and 200-meter dashes, and came within three-tenths of a second qualifying for the regional in the 200.
Trevor Holt won the shot put and discus. Elijah Bryant finished second in the discus and third in the shot put. Jarius Hinnant ended up third in the high jump.
CBA won the 4x8 relay.
