Ridgecroft won four of six singles matches and handed Wayne Country Day a 6-3 loss on Tuesday afternoon.
The Chargers picked up singles points from Alec Fritzinger, who played at the No. 1 flight in absence of Sam Dively. Gray Langston, the No. 3 seed, won a first-set tiebreaker en route to a straight-set win.
Fritzinger-Langston earned the lone doubles point for WCDS.
The Chargers face Greenfield today.
