BASEBALL: Rosewood now 6-0 in Carolina 1A play

Rosewood built an eight-run lead through the first four innings and held on to defeat James Kenan, 9-6, on the Carolina 1-A Conference scene Wednesday afternoon.
The Tigers pulled to within 8-6 after six innings.
The Eagles scored an insurance run in the seventh.
Chance Howard and Kolby Harris (RBI) paced Rosewood's offense with two hits apiece. Jonathan Peacock, Derek Neal (two RBI), Tucker Chapin (RBI), Tanner Bradley (two RBI), Boone Moody and Stalen Massengill each produced one hit.
Moody stole two bases.
Harris started on the mound and yielded four runs (three earned) on two hits, five walks and three strikeouts in 41/3 innings. Bradley threw 12/3 innings of two-hit, three-strikeout relief.
Peacock struck out the JK side in the seventh for the save.
Rosewood (8-2 overall, 6-0 CC) entertains Princeton today.
