GOLF: Aycock's Jones earns medalist honors

Bryce Jones earned medalist honors with a 75 during a three-team Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference match played Wednesday afternoon.
Jake Flowers (79), Ty Daniels (82) and Daniel Barnes (84) rounded out the Golden Falcons' four-player total of 320 -- 20 strokes lower than runner-up Eastern Wayne.
Noah Forrester led the Warriors with an 80, followed by Drew Grady (82), Justin Whaley (89) and Justin Edwards (89).
Shane Tillman fired a 104 for the Saints, who ended up with a 448. Logan Mason, Turner Worth and Thomas Wingate also contributed to SW's team score.
