* Softball: Wayne Christian 13, Neuse Christian 9 -- Lilly Britt emerged as the winning pitcher, while Abigail Kornegay threw the final inning in relief. Kornegay belted an inside-the-park home run deep to right field. The Eagles (5-0 overall) play host to Unity Christian on Thursday.
* Baseball: Norwayne 20, Dillard 0 (4 inn.) -- Carter Gipson (RBI), Chase Hare, Chris Crow (RBI), Hunter Robinson (RBI), Dennis Daingerfield (RBI), Tyler Horton (RBI), Austin Booth (RBI), Carson Gipson (RBI) and SJ Harris (two RBI) provided one hit apiece in the Cobras' mercy-rule win. Norwayne (6-0 overall) is the guest of Rosewood on Thursday.
