BASEBALL: Wayne Christian's Suggs throws one-hit shutout against Greenfield

WILSON -- Ted Suggs threw a one-hitter as Wayne Christian dismantled Greenfield, 15-0, in a Coastal Plains Independent 1-A Conference contest.
Suggs retired 11 Knights on strikeouts, and helped his cause offensively with three hits and three RBI.
Jaxon Bauer and Holden Foster each batted 3-for-4 with three RBI. Addison Johnson posted three hits and an RBI. Luke Suggs and Will White logged two hits apiece. Jaxon Anderson and Corbett Schaefer (two RBI) each cranked out one hit.
White stole a career-high five bases. Anderson and Bauer each swiped three bases. Johnson and Suggs had two SBs, while Foster and Kornegay each stole one base.
