BOYS' TENNIS: Princeton trips up Carolina 1A rival

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Princeton swept the doubles and handed Spring Creek a 7-2 loss in Carolina 1-A Conference play Thursday afternoon.
Jacob Williams, Garrett Klein and Lane Woodall each earned a singles point for the visiting Bulldogs. Klein-Alan Farrior, Williams-Zach Hill and Blaine Phillips-Woodall each registered a point in doubles.
The Gators' Elias Soto won 6-1, 4-6, 1-0 (10-8) at No. 2 singles. Teammate Rolando Rios clipped Zach Hill 7-6 (0), 6-2 at No. 6 singles.
