• Baseball: South Central 13, C.B. Aycock 3 (6 inn.) -- Jacob Honrine, Jakob Prebe (RBI) and Kaleb Moore (RBI) pounded out two hits apiece during the Golden Falcons' road loss on Friday. Christian Brady, Davis Carroll (RBI), Trey Smith, Tyrie Artis and Seth Shepard each had one hit. Brady recorded a stolen base. Trey Smith and Noah Overton pitched.
• Softball: South Central 4, C.B. Aycock 2 -- Brooke Price and Makayla Williams (RBI) each pounded out two hits for the Golden Falcons. Abigail Lancaster contributed one hit and an RBI. Marie Kidd threw a six-hitter and registered six strikeouts during a five-inning effort inside the pitcher's circle. Aycock fell to 4-4 on the season, including an 0-2 worksheet against Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference opposition.
