BASEBALL: Saints defeat Rams on the road

SNOW HILL -- Kolby Anderson and Derek Holsinger combined for a five-hitter as Southern Wayne edged Greene Central, 5-2, in non-conference play Thursday afternoon.
Anderson yielded all five hits, two runs (one earned) and retired six GC hitters on strikeouts. Holsinger filed the save with 22/3 innings of one-strikeout relief.
Jack Casbarro stole a career-high three bases and batted 2-for-2 with an RBI. Holsinger contributed three hits, while Matt Stott logged a 1-for-4, two-RBI outing.
The Saints (6-3 overall) entertain D.H. Conley today.
