BASEBALL: Gators turn back Bulldogs

PRINCETON -- Matt Dupuy scattered six hits in a complete-game effort and Spring Creek turned back Princeton, 4-1, in a Carolina 1-A Conference encounter Tuesday afternoon.
Dupuy yielded an unearned run and fanned four Bulldog batters. He led the offense with two hits and stole a base. Teammates Levi Miller, Christian Yarbrough, Casey Whitfield, Josh Lebron and Austin Reynold each had one hit.
Tanner Flowers claimed the mound loss for Princeton. He permitted four runs (three earned) on six hits and two walks. He struck out six SC hitters. Will Gurganious threw the seventh.
