GIRLS' TRACK: The 'Bell' rings during Carolina 1A meet

PRINCETON -- Princeton sprinter Shamonda Bell pulled off three first-place victories during a four-team Carolina 1-A Conference meet contested at Harvey Brooks Field on Wednesday afternoon.
Bell won the 100-meter dash in 12.9 seconds, bested the field in the 100 hurdles in 17.2 seconds and broke the tape in 26.6 seconds during the 200 dash.
The Bulldogs racked up 104 points, followed by North Duplin (46 points), Lakewood (43) and Neuse Charter (20).
