GIRLS' SWIMMING: Goldsboro's Breck qualifies for 1A-2A state meet

CARY -- Goldsboro's Anna Breck is headed to the season-ending N.C. High School Athletic Association Classes 1-A/2-A state championship meet.

Breck claimed seventh in the backstroke with a time of 1 minute, 5.07 seconds. She ended up 10th in the 50 free in 26.74 and emerged as one of three sophomores to reach the state finals.
