BOYS' BASKETBALL: Goldsboro resident White reaches 2,000 points

WILSON -- Greenfield junior and Goldsboro resident Coby White needed barely half a minute to reach 2,000 points during his varsity career Tuesday evening.
White reached the milestone with 7:40 remaining in the first period against Wayne Christian during their Coastal Plains Independent 1-A Conference encounter.
Greenfield and White are the guests of CPIC arch rival Wayne Country Day today. The varsity boys' game has a tentative tip-off time of 8 p.m.
