Samiya Best supplied a double-double -- 17 points, 16 rebounds -- during Southern Wayne's 55-48 loss to Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference foe D.H. Conley on Tuesday evening.
Nadia Chesnutt scored 10 points, while teammate Caroline Summerlin collected six points.
The Saints (7-9 overall, 1-3 ECC) are the guests of South Central on Friday.
