GIRLS' BASKETBALL: North Duplin falls to James Kenan

CALYPSO -- Phylina Holmes logged a game-high 13 points as James Kenan defeated North Duplin, 57-7, in a Carolina 1-A Conference game Tuesday evening.
Shymia Newkirk and Diamond Cooper added 11 and 10 points, respectively, for the Tigers.
JK held the Rebels to one second-half point.
Destiny George led North Duplin with five points. Alyssa Santos contributed two points.
The Rebels (0-6 overall) play host to Neuse Charter today.
