WRESTLING: Warriors' Bryant, Matthews each finish 2-0

Billy Bryant and Nate Matthews each emerged victorious in two individual matches, but Eastern Wayne suffered a pair of non-conference dual-team losses against North Pitt (54-27) and Corinth-Holders (69-12) on Tuesday evening.
Bryant pinned the Pirates' Kenaz Duck 42 seconds into the second period of their 138-pound tilt. Bryant later pinned North Pitt's Dalton English at the same weight class.
Matthews earned an injury-time decision over Corinth-Holders' Christian Thornton at 160 pounds. He knocked off NP's Cameron Jones, 13-9.
Christian Torres (126 pounds), Joseph Scofield (195) and heavyweight Quiontay Foust each picked up an individual win against North Pitt.
