BOYS' BASKETBALL: East Duplin shuts down North Duplin

CALYPSO -- Luke Britt dropped in 14 points during North Duplin's 60-48, non-conference loss to county rival East Duplin on Wednesday evening.
Schmid Romeus and Terrion Addison contributed 13 and 12 points, respectively, for the Rebels. Chase King, Malik Cobb, Ricky Cameron and Armone Anders also scratched in the scoring column.
The Rebels (1-2 overall) launch their Carolina 1-A Conference campaign today at Lakewood.
