GIRLS' BASKETBALL: Conley defeats CBA in overtime

HOLLYWOOD CROSSROADS -- Cassandra Lassiter dropped in 13 points, including 12 from 3-point range, during Charles B. Aycock's 45-44 overtime loss to D.H. Conley on Thursday evening.
Tanika Powell contributed 11 points, five rebounds and six steals before fouling out. Arlanda Faulkner just missed a double-double with nine poitns and 10 rebunds.
Lexi Edmundson scored seven points.
