BOYS' BASKETBALL: Cobb leads North Duplin on the road

SALEMBURG -- Malik Cobb torched the nets for a game-high 25 points and North Duplin erased a double-digit, first-quarter deficit to defeat Lakewood 61-48 on the Carolina 1-A Conference scene.
The Rebels trailed 15-6 after one quarter.
Schmid Romeus added 18 points for North Duplin, which improved to 2-2 overall this season. Terrion Addison and Chase King scored five pionts apiece.
ND returns to action Dec. 29 in the annual Duplin County Christmas Tournament.
